Big Changes Ahead

This week I was planning on posting about Raspberry Mountain Trail, but I've decided to save that for another day. There are big changes happening in my life and I want to share them with you.

My boyfriend of more than a year has recently found out that he will be moving to Missouri for his career. After a lot of thinking, I have decided to move with him. This move is temporary and will only be for 10 months and then we will move somewhere else. We won't be coming back to live in Colorado anytime soon, which breaks my heart, but I have accepted it. Lately I have felt a yearning for something different. I am no longer comfortable working at my same job and going about my same routine. While Missouri doesn't scream adventure, it will certainly be different and I am excited to see what it has in store.

Little known fact, I almost went to college in Missouri to go with my high sweetheart, but my brain got the best of me, and I decided to move to Colorado for college. Maybe Missouri is part of my fate. ;)

I am excited, nervous and overwhelmed at the coming changes. Whatever happens will be for the best! I plan to keep updating the blog and posting about new recipes, restaurants, and things I love in Missouri. Just because I won't live in the mountains anymore, doesn't mean I'm going to stop exploring. Missouri here we come!
